Privacy Policy
Bricks Breaker — by Rk Dev Studios
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Bricks Breaker (the “App”) handles information when you play the game, sign in, or use Community features. Core gameplay does not require an account. Community features are optional and require an internet connection and Google Sign-In.
Information We Process
Game data stored on your device
The App stores gameplay information locally, including level progress, scores, settings, and levels saved in the level editor. Locally saved custom levels are not uploaded unless you choose to publish them to Community. Local data generally remains on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall it.
Google Sign-In and account information
If you sign in to Community with Google, Firebase Authentication receives account information supplied by Google, which may include your unique account identifier, display name, email address, and profile image. We use this information to authenticate you, show your account identity, and associate Community actions with your account. Your email address is not displayed publicly in Community.
Community content and activity
When you use Community, we may process:
- Level names, layouts, colors, difficulty information, and other level-design data you publish.
- Your Firebase user identifier and display name as the creator of a published level.
- Publication and update times, play counts, likes, and levels you have liked or played.
- Creators you block and reports you submit, including the selected reason and any details you provide.
- Moderation status and other records needed to keep Community safe and reliable.
Advertising and device information
Bricks Breaker uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers such as the Advertising ID, device and operating-system information, language, network information, advertising interactions, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from an IP address. Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, consent choices, and device settings.
App security
Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity helps protect Community services from abuse. Google may process app, device, and integrity signals to confirm that requests come from a genuine installation.
How We Use Information
- Provide sign-in, Community browsing, publishing, playing, liking, blocking, and reporting features.
- Associate uploaded levels and Community activity with the correct account.
- Validate, moderate, secure, maintain, and improve Community services.
- Display and measure advertisements.
- Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, and violations of Community rules.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be disclosed to Google as our service provider, displayed publicly when you publish Community content, or disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or defend legal rights.
Third-Party Services
The App uses these Google services:
- Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication
- Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions for Community data and operations
- Firebase App Check and Google Play Integrity for service protection
- Google AdMob for advertising
Google processes information under its own terms and policies. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security. You can manage ad personalization through Google My Ad Center and your Android device settings.
Data Retention and Deletion
Account and Community information is retained while your account is active or as needed to operate and protect the service. You can permanently delete your Community account from inside the App after confirming your Google identity. This deletes your Firebase Authentication account, user record, published levels, Community activity stored beneath your user record, and associated reports from our active systems.
You can also submit an external deletion request. Instructions and details are available on our Delete Your Account page. Locally stored gameplay data is separate from your Community account and can be removed by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App. Limited information may remain temporarily in service-provider backups or be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
Children’s Privacy
Bricks Breaker is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Data Security and International Processing
We use reasonable safeguards and Firebase security controls to protect Community data. No electronic system is completely secure. Google may process information on servers located outside your country, subject to its applicable safeguards and privacy commitments.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the App changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
